Thank you all for the feedback during the GMTK Game Jam!
I have taken the time to completely rewrite the game to get rid of technical debt and make the player experience more enjoyable.
This Quality of Life Update not only makes the game smoother to play it also includes a few changes to the controls and enemy behaviour.
- Removed delay between actions
- Removed gem usage limit
- Fixed enemy overlap bug
- Fixed unintended space paradox lockup (intended space paradox warning remains)
- Changed movement to hold W to aim and left click to move. This makes repeated movement easier.
- Changed attack to hold Q to aim and left click to attack. To mirror the movement change.
- Changed order of levels to make for a smoother learning curve
- Added some sound effects
- Added additional levels
If you want to try out the original Game Jam version I have kept it as an optional download.
The update has made working on the game much easier and added some functionality that makes new types of puzzles possible, so let me know if you have interest in more levels.
Any bug reports and steps to recreate those bugs are always welcome.
